Thrifty Words 100 Theme Challenge #1: 100 Words 100 Years

I came up with and wrote this theme challenge way back in 2020. I started the roundup on 1 January 2021, before the United States of America lost its damn mind!

So much has happened since Wednesday, January 6, when the president dog whistled his followers and incited a riot, an impeachable offense.

With all of these shenanigans and goings-on, our fun little theme challenge feels trivial. Especially when set against the stage of world politics.

Sometimes trivialities are necessary medicine for life’s angst. I don’t know about you, but I’m still filled with residual 2020 angst. Enter our fun little theme challenge. Our writers are anything but trivial and I am so, so, so proud to be a part of their artistic journeys.

Without further ado and in no particular order, please enjoy our submissions for Thrifty Words 100 Theme Challenge #1: 100 Words 100 Years
