I’m not on Twitter very often, but when I am I hang out with other writers in the #WritingCommunity. This morning a fellow writer was pondering what to write about. I replied to him, “Let me know and I’ll write the same.”

I challenge you to join in the fun. Let me read your stories.

Without further ado, here is

Magical Murder Most Foul

The landlady is driving me nuts again. Always complaining about the rent being late and the smells coming from my apartment. She even accused me of cooking meth. I can’t help it that sulfur had such a strong smell!

Tonight is the night this conjure spell will work. I have the salt, the candles, a cow’s tongue, parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. For some reason, the spellbook has an illustration of carrots, so I got some of those, too.

I’m conjuring the demon to take care of my landlady and maybe to get some money as well. I am willing to do anything. Sign any contract. I need a job! I hope this demon will help me find a job. I hope it takes care of that stupid landlady, too!
